Office Administrator: Dennie Lieber
Dennie (Denyse) Lieber has been with Or Tzion, and its predecessor congregation, Or Chadash, since the start of the congregation. She and her husband Efrem moved to Fountain Hills from New Hampshire in 2002 and immediately became involved with the start-up congregation. Dennie volunteered to write and distribute the first synagogue bulletin, “The New Light News,” and continued producing that communications piece for the next six years. Along the way, she served on the Board of Directors and volunteered for more committees than she can recall. When Or Chadash hired its first Rabbi and needed a part-time office assistant, Dennie accepted the position, working 20 hours a week for the congregation. That job evolved into a full-time position as our congregation grew. Prior to her involvement with Or Chadash, Dennie spent 28 years as a litigation paralegal for law firms in Wilmington, DE, Chicago, IL, Nashua, NH and Phoenix. She has held leadership roles with Hadassah chapters in New Hampshire and Phoenix and served on the Board of Directors of Jewish Community Centers in Chicago and Wilmington. Dennie and Efrem have two children, Sam and Amy and three grandkids, Ethan, Sarah and Adam.Contact
