Service Times

Congregation Or Tzion offers a wide range of worship opportunities. Rabbi Andy Green and Cantor Dannah Rubinstein lead our Friday night Shabbat service, including the spiritually uplifting monthly musical Shabbat service and an inspiring Shabbat morning service. Members and non-members – all are always welcome!

Services and Minyanim Schedule:

  • Wednesday: 5:45 pm minyan with Religious School (when in session).
  • Thursday: 7:30 am Minyan.
  • Friday: 6:00 pm Kabbalat Shabbat.
  • Saturday: 9:30 am Shabbat Morning Service followed by a Kiddush Lunch.
  • Yahrzeit minyanim upon request; contact minyan@otaz.org.

We offer Shabbat services every Friday night and Saturday morning for all ages in a variety of formats:

  • Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat Service — a musical, spiritually uplifting service at 6:00 PM, led by Rabbi Andy Green and Cantor Dannah Rubinstein.
  • Saturday morning Shabbat Service — led by Rabbi Andy Green and Cantor Dannah Rubinstein. Beginning at 9:30 AM, followed by Kiddush lunch.
  • Families with Littles Services — led by Rabbi Andy Green and Cantor Rubinstein. Held on the second Friday of the month at 5:00 PM. For ages 2 to 5 years. 
  • Jr. Congregation — for grades 3 to 7 led by Moreh Andre Ivory is held once a month (see the calendar for dates). Sing songs and experience meaningful, abbreviated Shabbat morning prayers, with fun activities and an ice cream kiddush following.

Additional Offerings:

Young Family Shabbat + Havdalah — Or Tzion welcomes families with young children to celebrate their Judaism through age-appropriate holiday events and Saturday evening Havdalah programs. Most importantly, families create connections with Or Tzion members and other area families.

Please contact Cantor Rubinstein if you would like to mark a special occasion with an aliyah or call the office if you wish to participate in the service in some other way.
