Gift of the Heart is a simple and pragmatic annual commitment structure that entrusts our community to sustain Congregation Or Tzion to allow us to meet our goals for next year, and for the years to come. Our hope is to expand the opportunity to create lasting memories and learning experiences for all of our congregants.
Your Gift of the Heart pledge includes:
A security fee of $120 will be assessed for each congregant household, and religious school, if applicable, is a separate tuition after renewing your membership.
To sustain our facilities, programs, staff, and services in the 2023-2024 fiscal year, the synagogue budget is approximately $1.4 million – or $2,850 if divided evenly amongst each congregant household. This may not be possible for some of us, but fortunately there are others who are able to contribute more. We are confident we can continue to rely on the community to be unyielding in its support of Congregation Or Tzion.
Congregants making Gift of the Heart commitments of $3,600 or more will become a member of M’orot Society, the major gifts program of Congregation Or Tzion.
